A message from the principal.
As we move through 2021 and anticipate more freedoms from the lockdowns, the CWC committee are now planning for the upcoming summer season. Despite the restrictions, 2020 became an opportunity for us to complete the building work at the compound, and we now have a fully functioning and easy to use unit with great access and storage facilities. We are of course very grateful to all the volunteers that helped to make this happen.
So what about the coming year?
Our plans are shaped by much of the feedback received from the recent “vision” on line meeting. Our hope is to be able to commence regular club activities after 26th April (subject to the relaxing of some travel restrictions).
Monday and Thursday nights will remain the core but with a slightly changed format and we hope to extend our training provision to weekends and further as demand dictates.
Other improvements include website and booking facilities. As always, it’s important that we all follow the COVID-19 guidelines and these will be promulgated on the CWC website.
Our AGM will be online, hosted by Robin Nicol and members are invited to attend, hear more detail on the improvements and have their say.We very much hope you can attend.
